Each correct answer will earn your team a points, which can add up to a maximum of 50 points for flawless play.
However, the fun doesn't stop there. The NYC Trivia League adds an extra layer of competition with the bonus points system. Each day, the top 25 teams are awarded extra points, with the top 10 teams receiving 5 bonus points while the next 15 gaining 3. The following week, the most successful teams also earn bonus points, with the top 25 receiving 10 and the second 25 getting 5.
In order to calculate your overall league score, we take your score from the beginning and then adjust it to a 100-point range, with 15 bonus points available each week. For example, a perfect base score of 50 points is multiplied by 85, the bonus points are tacked on to make it a total of 100.
